I just made my first zulily purchase and bought these two beautiful linen dresses for my two little girls. Now I just need a fancy occasion to take them to next Spring or Summer. Anyone want to invite me to a wedding?

Tranquil Nursery

I spotted this over at Decor8 and had to share it. This is one of my favorite kids' bedrooms of all time. The hues are so peaceful! And the Louis Ghost armchairs are an excellent choice for a kid's room due to their durability and lightness of weight.

I'm back!

Hello friends! I'm sorry I've been away so long, but we had a veritable summer crisis (our AC broke during a really hot weekend) and life just has been turned upside down. Not to mention that I resigned from my job of 6 years a few days ago and was busy, busy, busy trying to wrap things up before I left. And finally, I've simply not been feeling too hot, being about one month away from my due date and pretty physically miserable in every imaginable way, 24/7 now.

I'll have to take some time and update you on the goings-on in another entry tomorrow, but for now, I'll leave you with some pool pictures we took this afternoon. As you can see, life is still good, despite all the minor discomforts.

I just bought these totally adorbs onesie stickers for my new baby. You can stick them on t-shirts and they look like they are actually part of the shirt! These would make great baby shower gifts, and they even sell similar ones for pregnancy. Perfect for monthly photoshoots to track your baby's growth!

Photo Obsession

For a while now, I've been drawn to photographs of children. There's something about the innocence of youth that can be so moving (and I can already cry buckets of tears for anything that has to do with children). Usually, it's the black and white photos of children in the past that I'm most drawn to. These images of Parisian children all remind me of Sophie, somehow. I'm thinking of buying these prints and getting them framed for one of the girls' bedrooms.
