Literally two minutes in L.A. and I've already gone "Hollywood". We walked out of the gate with the fabulous
Judy Greer, who played "Kitty" in
Arrested Development. She was traveling by herself and just looked like a very pretty regular lady. Nothing like the crazy characters she plays! I was tempted to take pictures, but I didn't want to be obnoxious.
And then when we were waiting for baggage, we spotted
Jensen Ackles, who is currently in
Supernatural. He's actually pretty tall in real life!

But the ultimate Hollywood experience was when we arrived at the
Hyatt Regency Century City, and they were filming a movie directly across the street! Turns out, it's the upcoming movie
The Green Hornet, starring Seth Rogan, Nicolas Cage and Cameron Diaz.
Walking behind a paparazzo in front of our hotel. Look at that lens!
Here they are trying to get shots of the movie. Click here to see where the papparazi shots actually end up.
A scene that involved Seth Rogan running into a car and a lot of people ducking
The Green Hornet's car...there was a person in charge of protecting it during the filming.

On a final note, it's amazing how many hundreds of people are involved in a scene, and how complex it is to set up. I saw food caterers, make-up people, extras, people whose jobs were to hold umbrellas over the actors...a lot of technicians and a lot of lackeys. Now I understand why movies are so expensive to make!
