Two years ago today, I had my 39 week pregnancy exam. My doctor told me that I was experiencing preeclampsia and recommended that I check into the hospital immediately to give birth. I knew that my life would forever be different from that day forward, but never imagined how much I would be transformed and my life redefined. One day, I hope that I can tell Sophie how much she means to us, how much her existence has gifted us, how easy she makes it for us to be loving parents. Happy Birthday, Sophie...we love you so much!
