Designer Spotlight: Michael Lee
The September issue of Coastal Living arrived a few days ago and among the spectacular homes featured was that of Los Angeles-based designer Michael Lee. Originally from Texas, Lee has become known as a designer who epitomizes Malibu style. He favors a natural palette, complementing the beauty often found outside the beachside homes he designs. More of his work here.

I loved this house!! In fact, I love it so much I am trying to see if I can "design" (or maybe I should say "copy") the concept for my house here in Puerto Rico. You wouldn't know where I could get a floor plan of this house, do you? I've worked from what the article said (3200 sf, 8 pavillions of 400 sf each [in two rows of four], 3 bedrooms, LR, DR, Kit) but I need some help.... thanks for a great blog!

PS How do you find the time??? (grin)
Hi Monica! Thanks for your comment and welcome to my blog. If you're building a beachside home in Puerto Rico, may I come over? :)
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, I don't know more about his home. But his website does list contact info, and it wouldn't hurt to call or email them. You never know...

Good luck!
We saw Michael's interior design for his yacht in Marina Del Rey. Delicious!! Our family just bought a 50' Catamaran world sailing yacht and we'd like to have Michael re-design the interior. Yacht is currently based in So Cal. Would Michael be interested?
